Jeffrey Benoit has had a lifelong passion for the entertainment industry. He grew up in the tourist capital of Orlando, worked at the Theme Parks and pursued a degree in Computer Animation at the Ringling School of Art and Design. He then went on to a 20 year career in the Motion Picture Industry as a Visual Effects Artist (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1044805/). About 10 years ago, Jeff and his business partner Rhett Bennett (inspired by a few of the Bar Arcade concepts spawning around the country, and owning a massive Arcade and Videogame collection) decide to try out their own version of an idea that had been swirling around in their imaginations for years- a video game bar for adults...with Craft Beers. They chose Orlando, a town they were both quite familiar with as a test ground. 8 years later Player 1 Video Game Bar (player1orlando.com) is still going strong and is frequently reviewed as one of the top bars to see in Orlando. In 2018 they broke ground on their second location in Las Vegas and the doors opened on Labor Day 2019 to great reviews from the Gamer and Craft Beer community. More locations are planned around the country over the next few years.
