Matt has worked at some of the top venues in Chicago and Los Angeles over the last 20 years. After 8 years at Chicago’s then-famous Elbo Room, Matt has been with the Los Angeles Echo and Echoplex team, as both the General Manager and their Spaceland Presents production outfit. Matt has also produced shows all over Los Angeles, and beyond. He has overseen the opening of The Regent Theater in 2014 (and worked on converting a 100-year-old movie theater into a world-class music venue). Matt also has extensive experience in producing off-site productions where he has basically created entire venue experiences in non-music venue settings such as the Santa Monica Pier, The Natural History Museum, First Unitarian Church, and festivals like the Desert Daze Music Festival as well. As a part of the Invictus Hospitality team, Matt plays an integral role in identifying the best way to make money in this difficult, but expansive industry.
